Artists for Altadena: A Benefit Party and Community Event Honoring Altadena’s Creative Community

On Sunday, December 6, 2026, we will host “Artists for Altadena: Benefit Show and Community Event,” where Altadena performers will perform on the same stage with celebrity performers, with a special performance by Actor/Emcee, Daveed Diggs (original cast of Hamilton, The Boys, Snowpiercer), with Altadena’s own Chris Garcia (Netflix is a Joke, Mr. Iglesias) and more all-star performances, for an intimate variety show honoring Altadena’s resilience and creative recovery.

Home Microphone is a survivor-guided live performance series created with and for displaced Altadenans. We invite you to attend “Artists for Altadena” as we raise funds to deliver our 2027 Creative Recovery programming—a year of community-rooted events that support survivors in transforming testimony into art, and art into community care.

Why support Home Microphone? In just one year, Home Microphone has become Altadena’s community stage. Our open mics have welcomed over 1000 community members back to Altadena, with 50 local artists performing on our stages, many for the first time since the fire. This benefit show is a powerful community celebration, but the primary purpose of this sponsorship campaign is to resource our 2027 program year.

As Altadena enters a third year of recovery, rebuilding requires more than structures—it requires rebuilding the social fabric of community life. Your sponsorship is a meaningful way to demonstrate community leadership while receiving visibility with Altadenans and their families.
